- Kay Shelnutt made a cute child's dress from a class she took at the Sewing Room.
- Jo Ann Cherry made a dress with shadow work appliqué and a coat with hat to match for her granddaughter.

Jennifer gave out written instruction and demonstrated the technique for crocheting on
blanket edge.. She provided sample-hemstitched
fabric for us to use. She discussed
fabric choice for blankets and hemstitching.
